Cultivating Creativity: Weekly Music Group Sessions for Home Educated Kids

Our weekly sessions are the perfect opportunity for home educated children to discover their musical talents and enjoy the benefits of a creative education. We offer an engaging and inclusive musical journey for children of all skill levels. Our program is designed to ignite creativity and foster cognitive development through interactive, hands-on activities.

In addition to musical skills, our group emphasizes social interaction and personal growth. Children build friendships and develop social skills in a welcoming and supportive environment. We also focus on enhancing cognitive abilities, boosting memory, concentration, and problem-solving skills.

What we cover:

• Interactive Learning: Engaging hands-on activities, including playing instruments, making instruments, singing, collaborative music-making and rhythm.

• Inclusive Environment: Welcoming children of all musical backgrounds and skill levels, creating a supportive community.

• Enhanced Cognitive Skills: Activities specifically designed to engage both the left and right side of the brain creating new neural connections, boost memory, concentration, problem-solving abilities and executive function. 

• Social Interaction: Opportunities for children to build friendships and develop social skills in a welcoming environment.

• Distiguishing various music genres: Interactive games that include listening to various genres of music and learning how to identify these styles.

• Learn about Music notes: Games created to identify notation.

• Improve vocal strength: Taking part in vocal developmental exercises and warm ups. How to sing correctly incorporating diaphramatic breathing, increase confidence in using the voice including control and projection and more.
